Easter EGGstravaganza

 

Easter EGGstravaganza is hosted by Cassiobury Park, you can join Come them at the Cassiobury Park Hub on, Monday 22nd April from 1pm – 4pm.

Family fun activities includes:

• Complete our trail to win an Easter egg
• Create an Easter bonnet with – WRAP (recycling arts project)
• Easter parade at 3pm
• Face painter

The event cost £2 per child and suitable for ages: 5-12, siblings welcome.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Entertainer Watford Grand Opening

 

The Entertainer Watford store have a Grand Opening on Saturday 20th April at Intu Watford from 9am – 12pm.

It’s going to be an action packed day filled with fun for all the family.  There will be character visits, live demos and lots of toys! Plus, if you’re one of the first 20 families through the door at 9am, you will have the chance to pick a gift card at random in their Lucky Dip where you could win up to £100.

Wild walk – springtime

 

Wild walk – springtime is hosted by Cassiobury Park, at their Hub on Thursday 18th April at from 1pm – 2.30pm.

Join their wild walk to spot signs of spring at the park.  Meet at the Hub on the patio at 1pm.

No booking is required and this activity is suitable for ages 5-12 years at a cost of £2 per child.

Wear shoes suitable for muddy condition and outdoor clothing.

Noise Makers Easter Party

 

Noise Makers Easter Party is hosted by Noise Makers which are fun, interactive singing, music and movement classes for babies and toddlers.

Join them for an EGG-TRA special Easter Noise Makers party for babies and toddlers at The Barn Watford on Thursday 11th April. 

Join them for 40 minutes of Easter action songs, exploring instruments, scarves, bubbles, bunnies, puppets and fun!

Toddler Party at 10am

The Big Hop

 

Join Watford Colosseum for some Easter fun on Monday 15th April.  There will be bouncy castles, ball pits, giant balloons, music & lights, crafts and face painting, all in the Watford Colosseum auditorium.

Recommended for toddlers to 6 years with a maximum of 3 children per adult.  No unaccompanied adults (all must be part of a group with a child).

Session times:
10:30am-11:30am
12:00pm-13:00pm
13:30pm-14:30pm
15:00pm-16:00pm
16:30pm-17:30pm

Parents have to be responsible for their children at all times, and no buggies will be allowed into the auditorium they must be left in the designated buggy park.

Handmade in West Watford Craft Sale and Vintage Tearoom

 

This Handmade in West Watford Craft Sale and Vintage Tearoom event is held at the West Watford Community Association, 15 Harwoods Road, Watford.  Saturday April 6th from 10.30am – 1.30pm.

Come and get some beautiful handmade goodies all lovingly made in West Watford, then enjoy some delicious home-made cakes with tea.


 

Interactive storytelling session

 

Interactive Storytelling (as part of the Big Word Festival) is hosted by Watford Council and Watford Museum.

Come along to Watford Museum on Thursday 11th or Friday 12th April at 11am – 1pm and take part in interactive storytelling sessions.

It’s only £1 per child and there’s no need to book.  Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.


 

Basic life support – CPR

 

Basic life support – CPR is hosted by Stanborough Park Church and is being held on Monday 15th April at Asda community centre from 7pm – 8pm.

What would you do if someone collapsed in front of you?

Other than call for the emergency services, there are things you can do that will preserve life, prevent added injury, and promote recovery.

If you would like to learn these basic skills, or refresh your memory, then come this introductory evening of Basic Life Support.

Solo Stars – Indoor Inflatable Fun

 

Solo Stars – the new name for the Single Parents Watford group will be holding this Indoor Inflatable Fun event on Thursday 16th April at Francis Combe Academy, Horseshoe Lane.

Cloud 9, Inflatable fun for adults and children (over 1m tall).  You must wear socks to jump which can be purchased.

Wat’s On free family fun day

 

Families are invited to this free family fun day to celebrate the return of the Wat’s On programme this Easter.

The fun day takes place on Saturday 6 April, between 12noon to 4pm at the event space, by the pond on The Parade.

You’ll be able to have your face painted, take photographs with special guests and there will even be a climbing wall!
