The Cassiobury Schools’ Association are proud to host CassioFest 2019 on 29th June from 12pm – 5pm. 

Please join them for an entertaining family fun afternoon which includes Fun Fair Rides, Food and Drinks, Music and Entertainment, Exciting Market Stalls, Games, Face Painting, and much more!

Entry fee is only £2 (FREE for children under 12)


 

Imagine Watford

 

Imagine Watford is a  celebratory festival that brings the streets of Watford to life with extraordinary outdoor performances, free for all the family, from Friday 28th June – Sunday 30th June.

The festival showcases local, national and international artists of the highest quality, who transform Watford town centre into a place of wonder and excitement!

Over the last eight years the festival has grown to be a major part of the town’s event calendar animating its spaces, bringing communities together and making the arts accessible to all.

National Care Home Open Day – Art in Care

 

National Care Home Open Day – Art in Care is on Friday 28th June from 2pm – 5pm at the Chase Care Centre.

They will be displaying the wonderful art and crafts their residents have created this year.  There will be a ‘finger painting’ workshop on the day and prizes for the most creative person.

Pop in and join in the entertainment and meet the team.  All welcome.  Light refreshments will be available.


 

The Grove Academy Summer Fair

 

The Grove Academy Summer Fair is on Saturday 29th June from 12pm – 4pm.

Join them for a fun packed afternoon as there will be loads to do including; Tombolas, Raffle, BBQ, Licensed Bar, Lorry rides, Pre-loved uniform sale, Cake sale and various stalls

Enjoy a fun afternoon whilst raising funds for their Children’s School


 

Grimsdyke Brass Band at Cassiobury Park Bandstand

 

Harrow’s premier brass band are returning this year to keep you entertained as part of the FREE music programme for 2019, on Sunday 23rd June from 2pm – 4pm.

The Grimsdyke Brass Band is well known for its engaging and entertaining concert performances. Enjoy its broad repertoire including; Film music, Jazz, Big band standards and Brass band classics.


 

Cassiobury Park Bandstand: Make Music Day UK Celebrations

 

On the longest day of the year Friday 21st June people all over the world will be having fun making music!

Come to Cassiobury Bandstand (entry is completely FREE!) with a picnic & blanket and kick back to enjoy the fun of Electric Umbrella playing sets between 12-4pm.

At 6.30 pm Swanvesta Social Club will take to the stage with their Anglo Cuban Music as the sun goes down.

D-Day 75th Anniversary Concert

 

This D-Day 75th Anniversary Concert is on Saturday 29th June at The Alban Arena, Civic Centre, St Albans.

Adoramus Choir return to the Alban Arena with a concert to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.

The concert will include the choral themes to The Longest Day and the Band of Brothers, the Hymn for the Fallen by John Williams from Saving Private Ryan, the Agincourt song from Walton’s Henry V suite, culminating in Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No.4

The concert will be introduced by the RAF Chaplain, Wing Commander Revd. Ian Brown who will lend his insights to the occasion and Adoramus will be joined by the Beniaminek Polish Children’s Choir and the Pope Paul Catholic Primary School Choir.
