The Random Cafe are holding a table top sale on Saturday November 16th at the Meriden Community Centre from 12 noon – 4pm.

Knit and Natter is held on the first Wednesday of every month at North Watford Library for experienced knitters and absolute beginners. Next meeting Wednesday 6th November from 1.30pm – 2.30pm.

Introduction to traditional rag rugging at the Little Gallery Tearoom workshop on Saturday 2nd November from 1.30pm – 4.30pm at Watford Museum.

Create your own rag mat whilst finding an environmentally friendly alternative to putting old clothes in landfill.
This workshop is aimed at adults. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. £8 per person. Pay on the day. Booking essential.
Come along to Hertfordshire’s largest FREE firework display on Saturday 2nd November. Music and entertainment on stage from 6.30pm, bonfire with fireworks display at 8pm. Plenty of food and drink stalls to choose plus small funfair rides for the kids!
Please be aware that the Watford v Chelsea game is a 5.30pm kick off, so the roads will be busier than normal.

There is NO PARKING in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis. There are parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7am to 11pm, so you are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.

Try It Out Day is hosted by DEMAND (Design and Manufacture for Disability) on Tuesday 29th October at Watford Central Library from 10am – 4pm.

Come along for a cup of tea and a chat about safety at home at this Slipper swap social, Borehamwood Library, on Monday 11th November from 2pm – 5pm or at one of the other scheduled events.

Free CPR training sessions on Sunday 20th October, from 1pm – 4pm for the public to raise awareness on what to do in the event of a heart attack.
This event supports the Resuscitation Council’s (UK) Restart a Heart Day campaign during October 2019.

Training takes 30 minutes, delivered by local qualified trainer Cyan Heart Ltd and will be held at the Cassiobury Hub’s education space.

Hedgehogs need our help! These little nocturnal mammals will be going into hibernation soon and there are lots that we can do to help them along the way. Come along and learn about these little creatures, what you can do to help and enjoy some hedgehog themed craft activities at Leavesden Country Park, Friday 1st November from 2pm – 4pm.
