  Baby and Child First Aid Courses

  Would you know what to do in a first aid emergency to help your baby?  Book your place on the NCT Watford First Aid course taught by a Red Cross trainer.  The courses are being held at the Centrepoint Community Centre, Raphael Drive on Saturday 22nd September.

  

  There are two options of two and half hours each, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so there should be something to suit you.  The morning course starts at 10am, and the afternoon course starts at 1.30pm

  The course covers first aid techniques for babies (0-1 years) and children (1-12 years).  It lasts for 2 1/2 hours and content includes:

  • Loss of consciousness and CPR
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Burns
  • High Temperatures
  • Meningitis

  The cost is £30 for an individual or £50 per couple.  Concession rates also available.  Please note your place is only confirmed once you have booked via the links:

  Please note that babies in arms are welcome to attend, up to the age of 6 months.  Children over 6 months are not permitted for health and safety reasons and to avoid disruption to the learning of other parents.
