Watford Borough Council’s free clothes swap

Refresh your wardrobe for free by swapping your pre-loved clothes for new ones.  Drop off your pre-loved clothes up to 15 good quality items to the Pump House on Thursday 26 September from 5pm to 6pm. You will receive one token in exchange for each item. Have a coffee/go shopping and come back between 6.30 to 7.30pm and swap your tokens for items.

A maximum of 10 items can be taken from the event per person (it is the clothes swapper’s choice if they wish to bring more)

Items that you take along to swap must be in good clean condition.  Items that have shrunk, are stained or need repairing (e.g. missing buttons, broken zips, loose sequins or beading, rips, tears, fabric pulls or holes, bobbly bits, disintegrating seams or hems, lint or fluff) will not be accepted.

The following items will not be accepted:

pierced jewellery, nightwear, swimwear and underwear (including socks) and children’s clothes.

Clothes not swapped will be given to a local charity.  Find out more information plus the rules of the rail at www.watford.gov.uk/clothesswap
