The Great British Dog Walk 2019 is on the Munden Estate, Watford. Hosted by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People East Anglia. Sunday 17th March from 10am – 3pm (Registration: 10am – walk start time: 11am) Distance: 3km (Family Route) or 6km (Scenic Route)
Take part in The Great British Dog Walk, it’s a fun-filled sponsored walk, which raises money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. It’s about meeting people who also love dogs, and raising funds to help deaf people leave loneliness behind.
What to expect:
- Free bandanna – You’ll receive a free bandanna for your four-legged friend with every adult ticket purchased.
- Meet a hearing dog – Find out how deaf people have reconnected with life.
- Tea and cake – Before or after the walk
Terrain:
The walk is within a beautiful country estate through park lands, woods and across farmland. Both walks are challenging as they take in grass or dirt tracks and parts are across ploughed fields. Neither of the routes are suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
