Christmas Craft Saturday

 

A fun filled Christmas craft morning at North Watford Library on Saturday 21st December from 10am – 12 noon.

Crafts include:

  • An interactive app that brings your colouring to life
  • Make your own ornament to hang on your Christmas tree at home or leave on their Library tree
  • Make a special Christmas card for a loved one

All activities will be held in the children’s library, and although the session is free they do appreciate donations to be given for materials.  No booking required.

 

Christmas Special – Roller Disco

 

Christmas Special Roller Disco hosted by Sallys Roller Disco, this is their Fancy Dress Christmas Special Roller Disco for all the family.

Saturday 21st December from 5pm – 6.30pm at Watford Leisure Centre Woodside.  £5 Entry £1 Skate hire (Cash payment only)  First come first served so arrive early.

 

Children’s Christmas Party at St Mary’s Church

 

Children’s Christmas Party at St Mary’s Church is a party for children up to the age of 10 on Saturday 14th December from 2pm – 4pm.

Come for a traditional time of Christmas fun with craft, games, party food, gifts and (if you have been good) a visit from Saint Nicholas himself! £2 donation per child.

 

Winter Wildfowl Walk

 

This guided walk is a great opportunity to see Winter Wildfowl in their habitat and to find out more about them.

Join this FREE Winter Wildfowl Walk at Rickmansworth Aquadrome on Sunday 15th December from 10am – 12 noon.

Bring your binoculars, as you will be on the look out for the more common visitors to our local winter havens and maybe spot some occasional visitors.

All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Carol Concert at Into Watford

 

Carol Concert at Into Watford is hosted by New Hope on Thursday 12th December from 4pm 8pm.

Featuring Ian and friends (on the djembe), One Voice Community Choir, Sacred Heart School and Holy Rood School.

Come along for some festive fun!

 

Festive Family Day

 

Come along to Watford Museum on Saturday 14th December from 10:30 am – 4pm and join in on some festive family fun!

There’ll be lots of activities taking place to occupy children of all ages, from face painting to tree tassel decorating.

 

National Animal Welfare Trust Christmas Market

 

The National Animal Welfare Trust have their Christmas Market event on Sunday 1st December from 11am- 3pm.

They will have lots of fun stalls with loads of goodies for all the family as well as gifts for Christmas.  Dogs are welcome too!

 

Santa will be there so make sure that you pop in to see him.

Please park at the Mercure hotel where parking is free but please ensure you register your car in the Mercure Reception when you arrive, in order to avoid a parking fine.

 

Lights of Love

 

At Peace Hospice Care, they know the importance of honouring the memory of loved ones. They hope you will find comfort in being part of our Lights of Love commemorations.  The ceremony is on Tuesday 10th December – outside Watford Town Hall (7pm for 7.30pm).

This event is open to the whole community – with readings, music, refreshments and the chance to dedicate a light as they switch on the Lights of Love tree.
