Hertfordshire Health Walks

Hertfordshire Health Walks are free, local, health-focused walks happening across the county, led by qualified volunteer leaders, helping everyone get outdoors, get more active and reap the benefits.

Walks are graded between 20 – 30 minutes (First Steps) and 90 minutes (Grade 4)

Garston Health Walks –  Every Friday throughout September at 11am. They meet at Woodside Leisure Centre, Horseshoe Lane. This is a ‘First Steps’ walk, accessible by public transport with refreshments available nearby.

 Other Health Walks:

Cassiobury Health Walk – Every Wednesday at 10.30am.  They meet at The Cha Cafe by the tennis courts, nr Shepherds Road.  This is  a ‘Grade 3’ moderate walk, about one hour with hills and possible stiles. (Fast pace walk)

Cassiobury Health Walk – Every Wednesday for a 11.10am start. Again meeting at The Cha Cafe, this is a slower walk about an hour in duration.

For these walks you do not need special equipment, and there is no need to book. It is recommended that you wear some suitable shoes and waterproofs, and that you bring a bottle of water.
