This Astrophotography Workshop in Cassiobury Park is on Saturday 26th January from 4.30pm – 7pm, come along and you will be shown how to shoot the night sky and the best settings that your camera should be on. Any DSLR camera this should work on. With your mobile & DSLR you will be able to take photos of the planets or stars with the telescopes provided by the South West Herts Astronomical Society.
The cost is £20 per person and children are welcome but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Equipment needed:
- DSLR camera for starshots & Star trails
- Wide angle lens for the night sky, 300mm lens for close up of the moon
- Intervalometer wired or wireless
- Torch (red gel over your torch or a simple red quality street wrapper)
As this is an outdoor event, it is subject to the weather conditions, it needs to be cloud free. A full refund is available if the event is cancelled and you can’t make the alternative date.
